Manual lymphatic drainage Is a special form of massage that stimulates the lymphatic vessels to become more active with gentle, large-scale and circular movements, thus improving the removal of tissue fluid. Manual lymphatic drainage has a decongestant, soothing and pain-relieving effect.

Compression bandage After manual lymphatic drainage, a special compression bandage is applied to prevent the tissue from immediately filling up with fluid again.

Medical compression stocking A specially fitted compression stocking, which is much more manageable for daily use than the bandage, should then be worn for life to support the lymphatic system and maintain the success of the therapy. If the compression stocking becomes too tight, a larger stocking should not actually be made, but the therapy should be re-intensified so that the stocking fits again
