Isch Irène (Carouge GE)

Irène Isch has been a physiotherapist since 1992. During her studies, she discovered the benefits of sophrology and obtained a diploma in bio-dynamic sophrology in 2000. This specialization, which she is particularly fond of, represents a large part of her clinical practice, and has led her to develop her work with children (aged 8 and over), adolescents and adults alike.

She has been practicing shiatsu since 2006. This Japanese art brings her a heightened sensitivity to the subtlety of touch, energy and the relationship between human beings and their environment and the universe.

She is also interested in the work of Françoise Mézières, the originator of the muscle chain concept, and obtained a university diploma in Postural Reconstruction in 1999.

After years of practice, enriched by her different skills and the many encounters she has had, the mind-body dimension takes on fundamental importance in the treatment of her patients. This openness enabled her to address sexual issues with some of her patients, which is why she began university training in clinical sexology and obtained her certificate in 2016. At the same time, she is training in perineal rehabilitation.

She is currently pursuing training in sexocorporal therapy, with a view to specializing in the field of sex therapy.

These different training courses complement each other, confirming the fundamental interaction of the brain on the body and the body on the brain, as well as the individual's ability to be the actor of his or her own healing.
