Craniosacral Therapy The craniosacral system comprises the two poles of the skull and sacrum and forms a unit with the brain and spinal cord membranes. The cerebrospinal fluid, which moves in it in a similar way to the ebb and flow of the tide, flows around the brain and spinal cord. This rhythmic movement is transmitted to the whole body and influences the development and functioning of the whole person. Behind the subtle movement is a force that springs from a deep, dynamic stillness. It is called Primary Breathing or Breath of Life - the spark that sets the whole system in motion. It is natural, living, universal forces that create and balance human life.
