How does osteopathy work?

The body is a holistic unit of body, mind and soul. Osteopathy not only sees the mental body as a unit, but also integrates the mind and soul into it.
For example, a painful shoulder can have its cause in a completely different place, e.g. in the form of stress that has not been properly processed. Osteopathy tries to restore this unity.

Where does osteopathy help?
Osteopathy can be applied to all dysfunctions of the body, even if they have existed for a long time.
Important areas of application are, for example, tension, disorders of the skeleton and the associated muscles and ligaments such as herniated disc, lumbago.
Consequences of accidental injuries such as whiplash.
Problems of digestion, the urogenital tract, temporomandibular joint disorders, as well as sleep problems and migraine are other important areas of application.
Especially infants and small children respond very well to osteopathy.

Physiotherapy

I have been running a physiotherapy practice in Balgach since 1994.
Our main focuses are:

Physiotherapeutic treatments are usually prescribed by a doctor and are covered by basic insurance.

Training therapy (medical training therapy, MTT)

Actively doing something for your health

In medical training therapy, strength, mobility and endurance are specifically trained using modern therapy equipment.
With training therapy, you can perform problem-specific training under expert guidance.
The training plan is regularly adapted to your current training condition.

This therapy is mainly used for:

• Spinal complaints
• After operations and injuries
• Respiratory and cardiovascular problems
• osteoporosis
• General fitness training

This form of therapy is usually covered by health insurance companies if a doctor's prescription is available.
There is also the possibility to buy a subscription.
