Fisiolaura (Camorino)

After graduating from the Basel School of Physiotherapy in 2006, I wanted to deepen my professional experience transalpine at the Swiss Paraplegic Center in Nottwil (LU). After two years of experience, I decided to return to Ticino and open my physiotherapy practice "FisioLaura," first in Giubiasco and then in 2015 in its permanent location in Camorino. I believe that continuous updating is essential to offer my patients the best possible care. For this reason, I have taken and completed special courses in various areas of physical therapy, such as

• manual therapy by R. Sohier
• medical lymphatic drainage with bandaging
• Manual therapy of trigger point treatment and dry needling
• Application of Kinesio-Tape according to Dr. Kenzo Kase

To keep my knowledge up-to-date, I regularly attend refresher courses in various fields. In the field of preventive health care, I have found it important to give my patients the opportunity to participate in Pilates Care classes of which I am a qualified instructor. They differ from regular classes at "fitness" centers in that they focus more on the muscles of the spine and the patient is accompanied by qualified staff. This allows the patient to improve faster and perform the exercises in a physiologically correct and therefore safer way (see detailed sheet). The classes are adapted to different age groups. I also offer the possibility of private lessons.
