Filipovic Nenad (Lausanne)

Nenad Filipovic is an accomplished sportsman. In his youth, he played soccer and handball, then basketball for 10 years at a high level, with numerous international matches. He discovered the profession of physiotherapist as an injured athlete. In 1999, Nenad began training at the Ecole Cantonale Vaudoise de Physiothérapeute (ECVP). The sports bug never left him, and he chose a new challenge: triathlon. Ten years of competition on the Swiss circuit enabled him to improve. In 2000, he worked as a physio assistant for the ITU Triathlon World Championships in Lausanne. In 2001, while still a student, he founded "5Stars Personal Training", a personalized training company. After graduating as a physiotherapist in 2003, he worked for Daniel Griesser, physio to the Swiss soccer team, until 2006, when he became his partner. In 2004, Nenad was offered the position of physiotherapist at Pully Basket LNA, where he stayed for 2 years. On August 1, 2006, he opened his physiotherapy practice in downtown Lausanne. From 2007, he was a consultant at the La Métairie private clinic in Nyon, where he was in charge of the locomotor department. From 2007 to 2009, he trained as a sports physiotherapist (FCPS), before completing a research project which earned him a specialist diploma in sports physiotherapy. Since then, he has devoted his time to physiotherapy research in the fields of morphology and running mechanics.
