Dry needling

Dry needling is a very effective form of treatment in treating myofascial pain syndrome caused by certain muscle dysfunctions, trigger points that cause local and referred pain.
In this technique, thin acupuncture needles are inserted into the muscles to be treated without drugs (dry needling).
The skin is disinfected beforehand, then the sterile, disposable needle is inserted between the skin and the muscle, directly at the site of the injury, causing a local neuromuscular reaction.
After dry needle treatment, the treated muscle area feels much softer and relaxed.
