INFORMATION AND ADVICE

Physical activity has shown numerous beneficial effects on the physical and psychological consequences of treatment (fatigue, pain, depression and menopausal disorders).

Who can benefit?

Oncology rehabilitation is available to all patients who have undergone surgery for breast, ovarian or uterine cancer, regardless of the treatment administered in addition.

Where can I go?

Sessions take place at Martigny Hospital, in the physiotherapy department.

When do they take place?  Once a week, on Thursdays from 3 to 4 p.m. (supervised session)  A minimum of 3 months' follow-up and additional weekly individual practice are ideal for maximum benefit.

Means used?

 Treadmill  Bike  Handcycle  Leg press (leg strengthening)  Elliptical (leg and arm mobilization)  Gentle gymnastics (mobility and adapted strength exercises)
