Physiotherapie Schmeitzky is a lively family business that was founded over 37 years ago by Christoph Schmeitzky and is firmly anchored in Kleinbasel.

Christoph Schmeitzky treated his patients with great passion, unconditional commitment, high professional competence and deep humanity. His humor, unconventional approach and competent treatment radiated far beyond his practice and established the excellent reputation of his company. He was not only popular with referring doctors; as a lecturer, he also taught generations of occupational and physiotherapists how to put his immense theoretical knowledge into practice.

His intuitive talent as a therapist, using his hands to apply the right intervention in the right place, has fascinated professionals and clients alike. Whether he was working with top athletes or elderly and frail people who sought his help: Christoph took everyone equally seriously and was there for all of them.

His secret was that he recognized each person in all their individual complexity and did not simply treat individual body parts. This earned him a reputation in the industry and in healthcare in general far beyond the region.
