Manual therapy according to Maitland is a concept for recording findings and treatment based on manual techniques. It includes a theoretical analysis of the findings, from which the treatment is derived. With Maitland, functional disorders in the spine and joints can be examined and treated. The treatment is passive. Based on the individual findings, the therapist determines the treatment techniques to be applied.

The therapy is constantly checked and, if necessary, optimized by the exact, repeatedly performed findings. A treatment with the Maitland - concept is gentle and adapted to the described complaints.
