Career history

There are many paths that lead a person to his goal. They do not always run in a straight line, which for me is the exciting part of life.

I originally completed two apprenticeships in the trades. An apprenticeship as a carpenter and then an apprenticeship as a carpenter. Construction and working with my hands have always fascinated me.

Due to an accident, which made it difficult for me to continue my craft professions, I became aware of the profession of occupational therapist.

This gave me the opportunity to get to know a new field of activity in which my manual skills were useful.

After my graduation as an occupational therapist, I had the opportunity to work in a clinic, a center for craniocerebral trauma patients and coma patients.

In 2001 I had the chance to start working as an occupational therapist in Switzerland. I was able to expand and deepen my knowledge in the specialties of neurology as well as orthopedics, in which I was now working.

My goal was not only to provide optimal treatment but also to create good conditions for the treatment of the patients. I was given the opportunity to set up a complete neurology department at the Privat Klinik im Park. I was able to learn a lot and gain a lot of new experience, such as the fact that a good treatment concept is very important for an optimal course of treatment for the patient.
